Róbert Ésik is a Partner at EY EMEIA, responsible for location advisory services and government incentives across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa. Róbert Ésik managed the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) for nearly 8 years starting in 2014. During this time, his team managed approximately 1,900 investment projects worth €31.3 billion, resulting in the creation of over 120,000 jobs. The investment promotion organization he led received numerous international recognitions, and through the agency, developments were realized in significant sectors such as the automotive industry, electronics, food industry, life sciences, business services and the IT sector.
Prior to this, he spent more than 15 years in various leadership positions at major global IT companies such as Alcatel, Siemens, Nokia and Amazon Web Services. He holds degrees in economics and finance from Corvinus University of Budapest and Panthéon Assas University in Paris.
