Moderator: Karina Szwede

Karina Szwede has been Managing Director of the IHK for Rheinhessen since 1 July 2024. She previously worked at the IHK Koblenz for 14 years in various areas of responsibility ranging from foreign trade to location policy, most recently as Deputy Managing Director and Managing Director of Corporate Services / Human Resources. As International Spokesperson for the Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Rhineland-Palatinate, she coordinated the state-wide activities in this area.
After completing her second state examination in law at Landau Regional Court, Karina Szwede began her professional career in 1998 at the Chamber of Commerce Abroad in Poland. This was followed by further positions in leading positions at the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce in Berlin and the Slovakian Chamber of Commerce Abroad.
